Hospitalist opportunity in Bradenton, Florida

Envision Physician Services is searching for a Full Time ­Hospitalist Physician­­­ to become apart of our prestigious practice at Blake ­Medical Center­ located in Bradenton, Florida. Quality candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Hospitalist will round on ICU patients and no procedures are required and no codes. Physicians rotate pager call at night.­ This position does have­ block schedules.

• 383 bed hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• 7 Physicians scheduled daily (84 hrs of physician coverage daily)
• Average daily census per provider is about 18-22 patients per day
• 7 on / 7 off; 12 hour schedule
• Pager call from home every 6th or 7th night during your scheduled "on" week (3-4 times per month - adds nice bonus to paycheck)
• Hospitalists will manage ICU patients
• Procedures NOT required
• Hospitalists do NOT run codes
• Hospitalists will be involved with the GME program (Internal Medicine)
• EMR: Meditech
• Employee Status with benefits
• Occurrence Based Malpractice and Tail coverage provided by Envision Physician Services
• Envision Physician Services also manages the Emergency Department
