An 80-bed facility is seeking a hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located outside of Richmond, Virginia.The schedule is 7 on 7 off. Procedures are clinical physical exams, order tests lab, diagnostics, write orders, admission, diagnose injuries & illnesses, discharge planning, prescribing meds, providing health status, pt education & counseling, pre/post-op care, order echo, EKG, x-ray, manage infectious illnesses, respiratory, common (flu, dehydration). Credentialing takes about 30-60 days. The EMR is EPIC.
