Optum is looking for a Hospitalist to join our team. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

• Position will cover two hospital facilities in South Orange County
• Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM plus two-night shifts per month
• Admissions and rounding on assigned patients
• Average Patient Census: 12 -15 patients

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted California State Medical License
• Current California DEA certificate
• BC in Internal Medicine
• EMR proficient

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience preferred
• Excellent communication skill
