Hospitalist


The Hospitalist program at Bridgeport Hospital requires a full-time MD to join their existing group of eleven Internal Medicine physicians, one APRN, and one PA-C.  The position would be for 40 hrs a week, availability of working every other weekend, (no nights or no on-call), with competitive pay, and CME allowance.  The job would also include a full range of comprehensive benefits, including malpractice insurance, medical coverage, and retirement benefits.  There is also time for weekly CME conferences.

 

Duties would include initial admission evaluations, history and physicals, daily ward rounds, patient management, coordination of care, discharge planning and summaries.  This position supports the extension of the Hospitalist services, working collaboratively with attending and other Hospitalist physicians.

 

While 2-3 Years experience is preferred, new Grads will be accepted
