PrimeDoc is a 100% physician owned and managed regional hospitalist group specializing in establishing, staffing, and managing hospitalist programs. PrimeDoc of Richmond, PC is a hospitalist group of TEN full time physicians including one NOCTURNIST practicing at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center. Memorial Regional is located in Mechanicsville, Virginia just 15 minutes outside of downtown Richmond. Bon Secours Memorial Regional opened its doors to patients on May 30, 1998 and is under a period of dramatic growth. The facility offers the full spectrum of healthcare services for families including acute care, ambulatory services, obstetrics and a 24-hour Emergency Room. The emergency room is under a 4.9 million dollar expansion to increase its annual volume to accommodate 65,000 visits per year. Bon Secours Richmond Health System is part of Bon Secours Health System, Inc. The health system is a not-for-profit system that maintains 24 hospitals and 13 regional healthcare systems in nine of the eastern United States, with a total of 5,520 beds.
