Candidate will join a highly skilled health care team. The midlevel practitioner (Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner) serves the Occupational Health department through evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with the physician regarding the provision of medical care for work-related injuries and illness.

Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, providing initial emergency care, ordering lab tests and x-rays, prescribing medications, providing patient education and counseling, forming diagnoses and administering treatment in accordance with occupational Health protocols and established standards are care.

The midlevel practitioner is active in the development and maintenance of Occupational Health operations. Performs D.O.T. examination.

Must demonstrate a high degree of skill in human relations and communication with the ability to deal constructively on a one-on-one basis with a wide variety of persons and personalities.
