Nationwide is seeking critical care physicians to cover an ICU in St. Louis, MO. We need 15 - 18 shifts a month covered starting as soon as credentialing is able to be completed. This is an excellent opportunity for both locums work and candidates who are seeking full time work are also welcome to apply. While this program has a residency program as a part of it's facility locums physicians are not expected to be teaching residents or those in fellowships. If however, you have an interest in teaching let us know.

More details about the practice are listed below:

  • Open ICU
  • Must be board certified or eligible in Critical Care Medicine
  • 12 bed general medical ICU
  • 12 bed surgical ICU
  • Hours are 7a - 7p and 4p - midnight (in house with call from midnight - 7a)
  • EPIC EMR on site
  • IM residency program in house
  • Teaching facility
  • Standard ICU procedures required
  • Must be able to manage airways
  • Pay is $ 160 per hour
  • Candidates must have a clean history (no mal practice or licensure issues to be given temporary privileges)

Again - keep in mind that while we are seeking locums coverage now they are also seeking full time help. If you have an active MO license, active DEA and a clean history we can probably get you to work quickly. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Critical Care medicine.
