…are responsible for the direct patient care for all adult patients admitted to the hospitalist service and may be requested by other specialists to consult on cases for optimal medical management.

… are assigned to patients “admitted” to the hospitalist program on a rotational basis. Care is provided to his/her assigned of patients until the patient is discharged or transferred to another hospitalist team member.

…provide care to patients in the ICU, manage ventilators and may perform central and arterial line insertions.

...are responsible for effective transfer of patients to tertiary care facilities when appropriate.

…work 7 (12 hour shifts) on followed by 7 off

…participate in a quality based incentive program

For those interested, additional salary incentives are available in the supervision of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. To avail oneself of this opportunity, the physician will successfully complete a 5 day course presented at The Ohio State University Medical Center.

Position Highlights

$210k base salary – Commensurate based on experience
Desirable work schedule – 1 week on, 1 week off
12 hour shifts
Full benefits, including CME and Malpractice
Employer funded retirement up to the IRS annual limit
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
