Full-Time Hospitalist needed outside Charlotte, NC

Description

  • Tight-knit medical staff which promotes a collegial atmosphere and strengthens patient satisfaction scores.
  • Physician will routinely be scheduled 7-on/7-off with alternate weeks on nights, but scheduling may change as needed to meet departmental and patient care needs.
  • Extra shift opportunities are available at four hospitals and at Hospice House, based on credentialing and interest.
  • Strong discharge planning and utilization review specialist support.

Qualifications

  • Seeking candidate who is Board Certified (or Eligible) in Internal Medicine.
  • Knowledge of core measures and performance improvement strategies to drive improvement.
  • Experience in participating in and/or leading quality improvement initiatives, preferred.
  • Proficient with computers, dictation systems and portable devices.
  • Volume ranges from 20-25 ppd

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary of $225,000 based on 180 shifts per year.
  • Sign-on bonus
  • PTO with sell-back feature.
  • Pay-for-Performance Bonus opportunity of up to 10% in accordance with the facility’s Hospitalist P4P plan.
  • Productivity bonus opportunity for exceeding wRVU goals in accordance with standards.
  • Up to $2,500 reimbursement for CME and other professional expenses per fiscal year.
  • Malpractice insurance, including tail.
  • Relocation reimbursement
