Program Overview/Job Description:

7 on / 7 off block schedule
15 shifts per month average
10 hour shift / Paid for 12 hours
Average daily census of 12
12 hours of on call
25-bed hospital
Admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult)
Coordinating with patient’s PCP, hospital, and/or health plan for all ancillary services related to inpatient episode and all discharge planning needs
Open ICU-Hospitalists admit patients to ICU and are required to do procedures
Hospitalist will run codes and are part of the rapid response team
Competitive Compensation - eligible for quality and productivity bonuses

Minimum Qualifications:

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Eligible to work in the United States. H1B Sponsorship is available
Ability to work as a team member
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
