1 HOUR 30 MINUTES FROM MEMPHIS. This assignment is for a hospitalist starting immediately. The need is ongoing until they can find a permanent physician. This hospital needs a minimum 3 month commitment. The credentialing time frame is 3 to 4 weeks. The schedule is 7 on / 7 off and the shift is 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. They have day and night shifts available. No call for this position. The case load is 12 - 18 patients per day. The locums physician will be working with 2 permanent hospitalists. Board Certification in internal medicine required. Mississippi state license required. Hospitalists do not respond to codes and they see patients in the ICU at this hospital. No procedures are required. They use EMR.
