BOSTON IS 30 MINUTES AWAY. This facility needs a hospitalist to start immediately. The credentialing time frame is 1 week. This position is ongoing until a permanent physician is hired. The shift is 8am to 6pm. The schedule is sporadic. Several dates are available. No Call required at this facility. The case load is 12 to 15 patients per day. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required. The locums physician will be working with 2 permanent hospitalists. A Massachusetts state license is required. They will consider family practice physicians with hospitalist experience. Hospitalists do not respond to codes and they do not work in the ICU. They have EMR at this facility.
