Hospitalist Job in Indianapolis Area, IN

  • The future of Shelbyville is bright.
  • Henry County Hospital is looking for a Hospitalist to join their team!
  • Greenfield is also home to rich cultural and recreational resources.
  • Johnson is also open to candidates who would like to do a split between Hospitalist and work in an outpatient setting.
  • Henry County Hospital is an integrated health system located in New Castle that serves Henry, western Wayne and northern Rush Counties.
  • Accented by annual events such as the Riley Festival and Entertainment on the Plaza, Greenfield is a great place to live!
  • Candidates must be willing to do procedures as there is an open ICU.
  • Franklin is located about 25 miles south of downtown Indianapolis, making trips into Indianapolis for dining, sporting or cultural events an easy drive of less than 30 minutes.
  • Johnson Memorial Health is looking for two Hospitalist candidates to start immediately.
  • Critical Care skills necessary.
  • This is not a requirement, just an option.
  • Candidate must be able to run and manage short term vents.
  • Nights are covered by NPs with MD backup from home.
  • Shelbyville is the largest city in the county and has a population of 18,063.
  • This physician will work 7on/7off with a 12 hour shift.
  • Johnson Memorial Health is county-owned and has served the citizens of Johnson County immediately south of Indianapolis since 1947.
  • The hospital maintains a close relationship with Riley Children's Hospital which is utilized for newborn critical care transfers.
  • No new patients assigned.
  • The Hospital's Wound Center offers advanced wound care treatments and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
  • Typically a 5 day work week and occasionally, but never more than 7 at a stretch.
  • The physician will have 16 shifts every 28 days.
  • Very few telephone calls and will rarely need to come in.
  • Hospitalist has the option to work days or nights.
  • Beyond all these opportunities, Indianapolis is just a 15-minute drive away.
  • Henry has a weekend physician who handles new weekend patients.
  • The Unit also has a special procedures room where all C-sections are performed.
  • Candidates will have the option to work 7on/7off or 3-4 consecutive days of 12 hour shifts.
  • Near-by Indianapolis and Muncie offer major league and college sports, symphony orchestras, theatres, museums, universities, colleges and an array of fine restaurants and other entertainment.
  • Hours are 7a-7p (12 hour shifts).
  • Using the latest technology, doctors have more access to patient information, leading to better patient care.
  • Candidates will have convenient blocked schedule of 7on/7off.
